” MLB, NHL, NCAA, College Classrooms, High school proms, Senior nights, vacations, movie theaters… all stopped over night.

All things that we never thought in a million years would have ever been canceled.

It’s a time in our lives that we will never forget.

Among all the worry and uncertainty we’re experiencing… I want you to understand that we’re going to be OK.

The human race has been thru crisis before.

We’re not the first ones, wont be the last and you’re not alone.

Together, we will come back stronger, better and more experienced than we are right now.

What I have come to understand through trying times is that what we are afraid of as humans is Fear of the Unknown.

Find peace in knowing that it’s OK not to know… it’s OK to be afraid… that’s just part of the journey of life.

Part of the journey is conquering the “What if” negative mindset… and realizing that the “what ifs” don’t matter.

What I have come to realize is that you can not control the “what if” and if you could, life wouldn’t be as rewarding as it is.

You can not worry about the things that you can not control… or they will control you.

Stop worrying about the “what if”… worry about what can you control and spend all your energy there.

Shift your focus on how you can make the very best decision that you can… right now… and let the chips fall where they may.

Its ok to wonder what all is going on around us and to feel like you don’t have any control because that’s the reality of life…

There are 10 gazillion moving pieces that you can never control… and only one that you can.

Focus on you and the decision right in front of you… let the rest play out.

Control your emotions and make decisions based off of what you can prove, not what others can prove to you.

You will find peace in the understanding that you are in control of you and only you.

Its uncomfortable to feel vulnerable and uncertain, but I am here to tell you that it is normal.

We are all a little scared in our own way because of what’s to come we don’t know…

We’re in this fight together, don’t ever forget that.

Right foot, left foot.

I love you guys “

I wanted to share this post by Sal Frisella.  I believe he is on point as to what we can do during tough times/ dark times.

The reality is, we can only control so much…. We can’t control how our leaders will make decisions, we can’t control where the stock market is going to go, we can’t control how people are going to react during tough situations…  I can go on….

The only thing we can control is ourselves, how we react to situations, and how we are going to move forward.

We need to stop worrying about the things we cannot control, that’ll drive us crazy.  Instead, let’s focus on what we can control and slowly move forward step by step “right foot, left foot.
